Six noted Fantasy Baseball experts, including former Major Leaguer and current MLB Network studio host Harold Reynolds, will match wits with six additional players selected from across the country in the 2010 Bloomberg Challenge. Players will all use the new Bloomberg Sports analytic tools, in a season-long battle to see who can use the tools best and win the league.
Fans wishing to be considered to be part of the league, which also has teams managed by Ron Shandler, founder, BaseballHQ.com; Lawr Michaels, senior content manager, Mastersball.com; Tim Heaney, managing editor, KFFL.com; Steve Gardner, USA Today baseball fantasy columnist; and Derek VanRiper, baseball editor, Rotowire.com, should send their information to BloombergChallenge@bloombergsports.com from now through Wednesday, March 10. The nomination should include a brief paragraph on why the person should be a candidate. The six selected will be notified via email prior to the Experts League Draft, which will take place on Monday, March 15, at 8:30 p.m.
Bloomberg is conducting the league in concert with Fantasy Sports Ventures.
