Although Mayberry’s average can improve at only .211 in 2009, he had limited playing time, and he was adjusting to the utility role. Mayberry could serve as a valuable bat off the bench in 2010 and also provides depth if anyone gets hurt. At 6’6 and 230 lb., he is very athletic.
