The main problem with Dodgers games, and I don’t mean to sound racist, is that it is a bunch of Mexican gang bangers that think they own the world and can do whatever they want without reprecussions (and technically they can).

My wife, a die hard cubs fan, and me, a lifelong Cards fan used to go to a cards/dodgers game and a cubs/dodgers game every year but it just got too dangerous. It is a bunch of thugs and bullies and I really feel sorry for the kids that have to sit through it (not what a baseball game is supposed to be).

I hope the Phillies/Rockies own the Dodgers. They don’t deserve to win a thing with fans like that. Baseball is America’s past time and for the security/dodgers staff to allow people with absolutely no morals and no repsect for human beings to just scream and ridicule people is just disgusting. It really made me appreciate the Cubs and that is hard thing for a Cardinals fan to say.

I’ve bought the CHEAPEST Wrigley seats and still didn’t have this kind of crap.

Today we sat in the Pavilion and it was actually better than the Reserve seats, but still not very good. We still got food thrown at us and people were heckling a 12 year-old girl and her father (Cards fans) who were there.

I just don’t understand it. They are also the most ungracious winners I’ve ever encountered.

The only reason Dodgers fans aren’t yet as bad as Phillies fans in my mind is b/c Dodgers fans didn’t throw empty glass bottles at us. They are both worse than Cubs fans and that’s an actual rivalry.

I’ve been going to Dodger games for 35 years, but less and less each year for exactly this reason. I’m (obviously) a Dodger fan, but I find the stadium experience to be worse every year. The number of jerks has increased and I just find it unpleasant. Sorry you became a target.

Last night I sat on the field level waaaay down the third base side (not great seats, but good enough to keep the jerks out) and while the Cardinal fans sitting near me were heckled when they went up and down the aisles, there wasn’t one morsel of food thrown.

Rules of thumb – stay far far away from the pavilion and try to avoid the reserve level seats way down the line.

Hopefully everything goes alright. I’d just like to enjoy a baseball game, even if we lose.

I don’t have a decent explanation for why this happens at Dodger stadium, but I will say that the majority of the fans behave well. I try to do my part at the stadium to tell the unruly fans to cut it out. I too will be at the game today, so at least one Dodger fan will have your back.

But on behalf of all alaskan dodger fans I apologize. While every team has a fan base that is a cordial, knowledgeble baseball fan, the Dodgers seem to have a ton on the “I’m here to get drunk” fan. You should be ok as long as you dont sit in the pavilion.

Oh yeah, in our home opener someone was stabbed in the parking lot… just FYI.
