The Mets now have lost three of their most important position players to injury.

Carlos Beltran joined Jose Reyes and Carlos Delgado on the disabled list on Monday, all with leg injuries.  Beltran hit the DL with a worsening bone bruise, Reyes is sitting out with a torn hamstring tendon and Delgado is sidelined after hip surgery.

I was ready to outline the amount of money the Mets have on the disable list right now, but Joe Janish from Mets Today beat me to it.

Carlos Beltran – $18.5M

Carlos Delgado – $12M

Oliver Perez – $12M

Billy Wagner – $10.5M

Jose Reyes – $5.75M

J.J. Putz – $5M

John Maine – $2.6M

Ramon Martinez – $750K

Angel Pagan – $575K

Yikes.
