Small Ball Podcast #3 – Nicolle Meyer of the Lake Erie Crushers

For our latest Small Ball Podcast, we spoke with Nicolle Meyer of the Lake Erie Crushers. The Crushers are a new team in the independent Frontier League. We discuss the Crushers’ home opener and Nicolle’s experience working for two other teams in the Frontier League (the Traverse City Beach Bums and Windy City Thunderbolts).

Nicolle explains the challenges involved in working for a new team – a task that is made even more difficult in the present economic climate. She also details the day-to-day responsibilities of her job as Director of Community and Media Relations. Finally, Nicolle gives her take on the past, present and future of the Frontier League.
