Harold Baines Elected to Oriole Hall of Fame  | read this item

On Tuesday, the Orioles announced that Harold Baines and longtime Community Relations executive Julie Wagner had been named to the team’s Hall of Fame.  Harold Baines, one of the most prolific designated hitters with over 1,000 games at that position, spent parts of 7 seasons with Baltimore, and hit 107 homers during that time.  His 2,866 hits rank him in the top 50 all time.

The complete list of Orioles Hall of Fame members can be found at their site by visiting the home page of Oriole Advocates.  Oriole Advocates is one of the oldest and most respected clubs dedicated to the advancement of baseball.

Harold Baines and Julie Wagner will be honored at the August 29th game.
