Baseball Digest’s “Approved Orioles Blogs” list went live today, and they are a colorful bunch, literally and figuratively. After years as a losing franchise, the character comes out in names like “The Losing Column” and “Weaver’s Tantrum.” The sites also include the past victorious (1966, 70, 79, Ripken, Weaver) history of the team and are mostly decorated with historic past logos of Orioles, and their stunning orange and black team colors.

Speaking of which, the O’s are the last team to have orange in their uniform now that the Padres have changed to ivory and blue. But that is probably addressed on the page NumerOlogy, as in Oriole uniform numbers. Blogs about the Orioles show the dedication of the fans, and we’re proud to share the page with folks like The Wayward Oriole, MD Bird Lover, Roar from 34, Dempsey’s Army and Frost King Baseball.
