The Kansas City Royals signed Juan Cruz to a 2 year 6 million dollar contract. The Royals will lose their 2nd round pick in June’s amateur draft but feel they are capable of contending in a weak AL Central. Cruz went 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 51.2 innings with the Diamondbacks last season.
